Jacob Jeketule Soko is a graduate of Strategy from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture, MBA from Daystar University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Ministry from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.

He works at Tangaza University College, a constituent college of the Catholic University of Eastern Africa in Kenya as a lecturer and coordinator of Pedagogy (PEDAL).

He also serves as a resource person for Pedagogical Leadership in Africa (PEDAL) training that aims at empowering lecturers with skills in course design, facilitation, and assessment for learning https://pedal-africa.org. He is also a consultant at Spec Training and Consultancy www.spectcc.org which carries out assignments on Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Accountability for organizational effectiveness. He serves on the management committee of the Centre for Research in Religious Life and Apostolate (CERA) Africa https://www.cerra-africa.org/.

He has participated in several research projects by AuthorAid and has been trained in doctoral candidates supervision through DIES/CREST https://www0.sun.ac.za/crest/dies-crest-online-training-course/. His values include Honesty, Compassion, inclusivity, and respect for all. He is passionate about children, child protection, and safeguarding.

Some of his publications include Management for Social Transformation, Conceptualizing and Measuring Hospitality in Relation to Wellbeing in Kenya, Marketing for Social transformation, Rehabilitation of Sex Workers in Mwingi Town, Kenya, and Agricultural Pesticide use in Malawi.
